Kia Rio power steering – problems, symptoms and solutions
The Kia Rio (model years 2011-2017) is equipped with an electric power steering (EPS). One of the most well-known complaints with the Kia Picanto power steering is that the steering suddenly becomes heavy, especially at low speed or when parking. Sometimes the power steering fails completely and returns temporarily after restarting. Other symptoms are: - EPS light remains on - Knocking, creaking or cracking noise when steering - Play in the steering wheel - Shaking or vibrations in the steering wheel - Uneven or jerky steering.
