Kia Niro power steering problems – causes and solutions

The Kia Niro are modern (hybrid and electric) cars with an electric power steering (EPS). This system provides light and precise steering, but in practice power steering problems occur regularly. Drivers report, among other things, a heavy steering wheel, banging or creaking noises when turning, or even loss of power steering.
